Free parking
There is free parking at Kirkeheia after 17.00. Parking is free all day on Sundays.

Motorcycle parking
Parking of motorcycles is free in the city center. Parking signs indicate permitted parking spaces.
Mopeds and motorcycles may also park at paid parking spaces. Several vehicles may share parking in the same parking space using one ticket. Remember that the last vehicle to leave a shared parking space must be in possession of a shared parking ticket.
Purchasing parking tickets for long-term parking at the Arresten parking garage
Parking spaces at the Arresten parking garage are not available for purchase, but long-term parking space rentals for up to 20 years are available. The Arresten parking garage is the only location where Municipal long-term parking is available.
Contact the Municipal Technical Services Department in order to purchase long-term parking tickets valid at the Arresten parking garage.

Overnight parking for recreational vehicles and camping cars
The Municipality of Grimstad does not offer overnight public parking for recreational vehicles and camping cars. Recreational vehicle and camping car tourists are advised to park at local camping locations.
